Casa en Blanco

Somos un taller de arte y diseño dedicado a la producción de libros y publicaciones. Desde 2014 hemos desarrollado nuestro trabajo con atención en el libro no sólo como soporte sino como obra autónoma. En cada una de nuestras Publicaciones cuidamos especialmente aquellas dimensiones que propician pensar el libro como totalidad: materialidad, trama de sentido, mecanismo de lectura y horizonte de interpretación.

Junto a esta práctica creativa y colaborativa, desarrollamos labores vinculadas tanto al fortalecimiento como a la enseñanza de los oficios del libro y la encuadernación. Así, recibimos Encargos de diseño editorial, producción de imprenta y encuadernación, y Talleres & Tutorías en torno a los diversos quehaceres involucrados en la creación de libros y publicaciones de arte.

We are an art and design workshop focused on the production of books and publications. Since 2014 we have developed our work with a focus on the book not only as a medium but also as an autonomous work. In each of our publications we pay special attention to those dimensions that favour thinking about the book as a whole: materiality, weft of meaning, reading mechanism and horizon of interpretation.

Alongside this creative and collaborative practice, we develop work linked both to the promotion and teaching of the book and bookbinding trades. Thus, we offer editorial design services, printing and binding production, and workshops and tutorials on the various tasks involved in the creation of books and art publications.
